Unveiling Holy Spirit – The sound of Heaven, The Voice of the Father’s Heart, The Speaking Blood on the Mercy-Seat Throne, The Revelation of Jesus

“And answering, the angel said to her, “Holy Spirit will come upon you and ‘Power’, of-(the One) Highest (that is,The Most-High’s Power“), will overshadow you, on account of which The (One) born (Who is) Holy (that is, The Holy-One born) will be called, ‘Son of God’ ” ”                                                                                                                    Luke 1:35 (Lit.  frm Grk text)

For weeks my heart has been yearning, with hunger, to know truthfully, from God’s heart very specifically through the scriptures of the New Covenant cut in Jesus’s blood, Holy Spirit.

“… for the (One) in her begotten from-out-of Holy Spirit is.  She shall, then, bring forth a Son, and you will call the Name of Him ‘Jesus’,  for He-Himself will save His people from their sins.”                                                                                                                                                                                        Matthew 1:20b-21

.  This yearning and hunger to know Holy Spirit purposely focused through the truth of the New Covenant, in the finished work of the cross of Christ, stems, in part, from a concern I’ve had for some years, that of seeing and understanding God’s Spirit through the lens of the Old Covenant apart from the unveiling of its mystery through the New Covenant (ref .Eph. 3:4b-5;& Col. 2:2b), and consequently mixing this understanding into New Covenant proclamation.

.  Yet, too, I believe Father is answering a heart’s desire (that He put there) to want to know more and more His own heart; and I have seen that His heart is wholly wrapped up in His Son (Mat. 3:16-17;  17:5; Heb.1:1-2 NASB).

When the Helper comes, whom I will send from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, Who proceeds from the Father (lit. also, “The (One)  from of-the Father going out”), He will bear witness OF ME!”                                                                                                                                                                       John 15:26  (NASB)

As Jesus has increasingly been being unveiled over the last eight or so years from the Word, such as I (and actually most of the church) has never seen or known, showing God the Father’s ‘from eternity’ plan, purpose and destiny through the wealth of what is raw Grace (ref. Jhn. 1:14,17b-18; Heb. 2:9; 10:15,17; Jhn 20:19b-22a; Lk. 24:44-47), thus resulting, as well, in the revelation to us what is the truth of His (God’s) own very nature (ref. II Cor. 5:19; Heb. 8:10-12), this unveiling of Jesus from of the full body of the scriptures, even as Jesus Himself taught in detail while He was walking with two on the road to Emmaus the day God raised Him from the dead (Lk. 24:13-32; 44-46), this unveiling bears witness to the present working of Holy Spirit (Jhn. 15:26; 16:13-15).

.  And it does so with a very, VERY clear line of distinction intentionally separating from Old Covenant understanding – from Old Covenant principles, demands, statutes, etc. – even from how He dealt with His people according to the judgments of the Mosaic Law versus His judgments now according to the finished work of the cross of Christ; (this last statement not understood, by too many, because of the mixture of Old Covenant Law into New Covenant truth, in the single, unmixed, pure revelation of just how full and complete is the judgment of the cross, this raw Grace, borne by Jesus alone for the whole world  – I Jhn.  2:2; 4:14; II Cor.  5:14-21; Heb. 2;9).

I’ve been concerned because there has been so very much teaching and preaching on “God” and “Holy Spirit” and life lessons from out of scripture, especially from out of the Old Testament, and also on “endtime” stuff, all which barely unveils Jesus and the finished, victorious work of His Cross, and Father’s adamant intention to keep His Son seated with Him on His Throne until He – God the Father – sets every single enemy under Jesus’s feet, to give to Him the return, the booty, (Is. 53:12a; Ps. 110:1) for His Victorious sacrifice.

This attempt actually hinders the true working of Grace through the indwelling Holy Spirit.  New Covenant transformation, which openly bears witness through our lives, increasingly, of a stripped satan-accuser-lord-of-darkness, occurs when one beholds Jesus in His present Resurrection glory, and not apart from it, not separate from this unveiling …

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, ‘Liberty’.  But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. ”                                                                                                                                                                           II Corinthians 3:17-18  (NASB)

The grace working of Holy Spirit in us takes place in our beholding the glory of our resurrected Jesus – of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, the revelation of the finished work of the cross, all that is our redemption – as seen in the plan and purpose of God throughout the body of the scriptures.  Jesus Himself set the precedent for unveiling Himself from the Holy Spirit breathed scriptures (II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:20-21) as a New Covenant standard for Kingdom proclamation in that very first sermon after His Resurrection, in that several mile walk to Emmaus, seen in the virtual length of Luke 24.

This, too, was the beginning of Jesus setting hearts ablaze over the following forty days, readying them to receive the Baptism by Him into Holy Spirit and fire (Mat. 3:11; Acts 2:3-4), for the very purpose of doing just exactly as He did through Holy Spirit in Him in that scripture unfolding to those two on that Resurrection day.

“And they said to one another, “Was not the heart of us being burned in us as He was speaking to us on the way, as He was thoroughly-opening to us the scriptures?” ”                                                                                                  Luke 24:32 (Lit.  frm Grk Text)

To detract from this, Beloved, is to walk backwards from the finished work of the cross into Old Covenant fragmentary knowledge of fading Glory.  Such teaching, such proclamation of God, of Holy Spirit, of anything “prophetic”, is actually setting the veil back up, causing precious souls to take their gaze off of Jesus and His Unmerited Grace to them, and putting it back on themselves, even on their own attempts at staying or becoming “righteous”; it is as Paul’s Romans 7 description, that of trying to stay or do “Christian” works apart from Grace, apart from the working of Holy Spirit that is a frustration which cannot be answered in self effort, no matter how holy genuine the desire.  All of this, in truth, detracts from true “finished work of the cross of Christ” Kingdom of God advancement; for it causes believers and the world to still see and believe God according to the judgments of the Law, their understanding of God according to the Old Covenant portrayal of His believed nature.

Part of the fruit of this system of believing is evidenced by a believed, continuously (for decades) noised abroad proclamation of an impending judgment, exactly as is perceived under the Old Covenant; it is exceedingly more real … AND EXPECTED …  than is the goodness of God that leads to repentance because of the volume and strength of Grace that is actually more true and real as a result of that Blood that presently is speaking from God’s Throne.

But, Beloved, this mixture is NOT the true Testimony of Holy Spirit, whatsoever!

” ‘Grace and Truth’ through Jesus Christ came to be!                 ‘God’ NO-ONE has seen any time!                                                     The only begotten Son, the One being in the bosom of the  Father, THAT ONE has declared Him! ”                                                                                                   John 1:17-18

“God … in these last days has spoken to us in a Son Whom He appointed heir of all things, through Whom also He created worlds;   … and He is the EXACT image of His nature“.                                                                                                           Hebrews 1:1a,3

“He who has seen Me has seen the Father. ”                                                                                        John 14:9 (NASB)

It is impossible to know Who Father God is apart from seeing Jesus, from Jesus by His Holy Spirit unveiling Him to us. (John 14:6ff.; Lk. 10:21-23).  It is thus impossible to properly know Holy Spirit –  Who is literally the Spirit of God our Father – apart from the revelation of Jesus.

I have been looking at and meditating on the gospels’ initial introduction of Holy Spirit, chronologically, the New Covenant’s / New Testament’s first glimpses, first statements, concerning Holy Spirit.  For it is in this that God has set as a foundation for understanding and knowing Holy Spirit, His Spirit, correctly, that is, in light of the ripped veil which is our grace-truth reality from the finished work of the cross.  My heartbeat, therefore, is to lay this foundation, which is necessary in guarding against what is false, what does not bear witness to Jesus, to the finished work of the cross.

Holy Spirit would bear witness through Jesus markedly, in declaring the coming end of the covenant and age of the Law, with its fulfillment finality in the single word noised loudly through Jesus’s bloodied lips and beyond recognition form from upon the cross,  “TETELSTAI !!! ” – “(IT IS) FINISHED  !!!” (meaning,  “it has been completed / paid in full”) (Jhn. 19:30), and then in His testimony through the prophetic teaching of the book of Hebrews, especially as what is declared through the body of Chapter 8.

ooThis is the same Holy Spirit, Beloved, breathed by Jesus into the disciples the evening of the day He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit of Almighty God (Rom. 8:11; Acts:2:32; Gal. 1:1), that Spirit of Christ also breathed into those who, since then, have believed into Jesus (Jhn. 20:22; Rom. 8:9b), into Whom also many have been baptised (Jhn. 1:33b; Acts 1:5b, 10:44-46a, et  al).

This is the very Holy Spirit, the breath of Father God, His Spirit, Who had descended upon Jesus from God out of the sudden open heavens and abided upon Jesus from His water baptism into the Jordan, the Father’s Voice, from those heavens, speaking and pouring down into His only begotten Son His love and good pleasure over Him (Mat. 3:16-17).  This was accordingly the same Holy Spirit Who was in Jesus being that dunamis power of Almighty God through Him, in every miracle and healing, in every demon cast out, in every dead person raised up, in every supernatural provision of bread for the multitudes (Lk.4:14; Mat4:23-24; Acts 2:22, 10:38).

This is Holy Spirit Who was there in Jesus when Jesus’s blood was being spilled – in the marring more than any man for our healing, in the nail piercings for our sin as He was being crucified  – bearing witness, first hand, to our redemption, to Jesus bearing the full brunt of our deserved wrath and judgment, … bearing witness to the cost of our redemption.   …  Selah  …

This is Holy Spirit Who was the Power and force of God eternally raising Jesus bodily from out of among the dead (Rom. 8:11; Eph. 1:19-20), Who was there in heaven when Jesus presented His blood (Heb. 9:11-14), Who was there when Jesus ascended to heaven forty days later and sat down on God’s right hand, on God’s Very throne.

It is God’s Holy Spirit, Beloved, Who is in us Who was and is and always will be that first hand Witness, of that “TETELESTAI” from Jesus’s lips from Golgatha’s hill that Passover some 2,000 years ago, INSIDE OF every precious soul who has believed into Jesus, of that full and utter completion of every jot and  tittle demand of the Law! (Jhn. 19:30; Rom. 10:4 – the Grk. word for “end” in this verse is exactly the root of Jesus’s “TETELESATI” from the cross, / Rom. 8:1-4; Heb. 8:7-13).  As has been said, so again I tell you, Holy Spirit bears witness to all of this … IN US … to the “IT IS FINISHED” breath of Jesus from the cross – of the work of the cross of Christ, even from the present Throne sprinkled, forever speaking Blood of our Savior.  Holy Spirit, God’s own from-out-of-Himself Spirit, that One single Spirit in Jesus, in us now bears witness to all that Jesus is, in His Name, His Spirit anointed words and deeds, the very Life of the gospel – the GOOD NEWS (not bad news)  of God!   (Jhn. 14:16, 20; Rom. 8;9ff; Heb. 10:15-18; 12:22a, 24).

The New Covenant, through Christ Jesus, is the full body of the truth of God Himself, of Who He really exactly is like – His Character, His nature, His very Spirit.  Consequently, for Holy Spirit to bear witness of all that Jesus is, through the Name Father gave Him, through all that was His service to the Jewish people in miracles and teachings from out of Who He was as A Son, all bears witness to Who God is as Father, and Who Father is as God (Jhn. 21:17).  Holy Spirit, in bearing witness in us to Jesus, to His Redemption of us, is actually bearing witness back to God Himself, because the breath of Jesus is the breath of His Father, is the testimony of Holy Spirit.  It is the testimony of God’s love for His Son, and thus His beyond comprehension love for us (Mk 1:10-11; Jhn. 17:26; Rom. 5:1, 5-10; Eph. 1:3-8, 3:14-19).

To see or understand or hear of anything of “God”, of “Holy Spirit”, whether in preaching, in teaching, in prophesy, etc., which does not bear witness to or unveil Jesus in His Resurrection glory, that is, that does not give testimony to Jesus Christ and Him crucified, is not the true revelation of Holy Spirit, because it comes short of unveiling the exact nature of the only true and living God. (Heb. 1:1-3; Jhn. 14:9-11 et al.).

Anything in teaching, etc., that magnifies satan or the works of darkness (Rev. 2:24; II Cor. 11:3 & 10:4-5 NASB), denying his complete stripping by Jesus from the Cross, that gives him a place in the heavens from which he has been booted out, is not Truth, is not New Covenant testimony of the finished work of the cross of Christ to which Holy Spirit fully wholly bears witness.  (Lk.  10:17-19; Eph. 1:19-22; Col. 2:13-15; Rev. 12:9; I Jhn. 4:4).  Anything that magnifies the kingdom of darkness (especially in “end-time” teaching) over the growing, augmenting Kingdom of God, that is, over the increasing government of our King-of-kings-and-Lord-of-lords, Throne-seated King Jesus, is NOT Holy Spirit of God truth, because God-breathed scripture bears witness that this is a lie (Daniel 2:29:45; Isaiah 9:6-7)

Any teaching, preaching, prophesying, etc., which robs hope for our future exactly as did the 10 leaders at the end of Numbers 13. (ref. Jer.  29:11), which robs believing God to us and through us that Jesus will indeed get the FULL reward of His sufferings in the harvest of nations from every tribe and tongue and people and nation, in the restoration of all things, any teaching that robs believing prayer FOR nations, especially among those of the Middle or Far East, that makes you rather to believe Jesus will have to get off of His throne before this is accomplished because darkness is increasing and not the light of the gospel, not the increase of His Kingdom, is NOT from Holy Spirit of God  (Ps.  110:1; Acts 2:34-36, 3:21; Heb. 1:8, 10:12-13), because it is all denying the finished work of the cross of Christ, His Resurrection and Ascension to Heaven’s throne by God Himself, the witness to all of this victory by the indwelling-us Holy Spirit. (Rev. 5:9-10; 7:9).

Look again, Precious One, at the posted opening scriptures.  These are some of the first words chronologically, in the New Testament, concerning Holy Spirit.

“And answering, the angel said to her, “Holy Spirit will come upon you and ‘Power’, of-(the One) Highest (that is,The Most-High’s Power), will overshadow you, on account of which The (One) born (Who is) Holy (that is, “The Holy-One born”) will be called, ‘Son of God‘ ” ”                                                                                                                  Luke 1:35 (Lit.  frm Grk text)

“…for the (One) in her begotten from-out-of Holy Spirit is.  She shall, then, bring forth a Son, and you will call the Name of Him ‘Jesus’,  for He-Himself will save His people from their sins. “                                                                                                                                                                                            Matthew 1:20b-21

.  What you see in the New Covenant foundation for knowing Holy Spirit is that it is wholly Cornerstoned in the revelation of Jesus as Savior.  It is so, too, that the “Alpha” word of Holy Spirit in the New Testament is also the “Omega” word of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.

And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come’.  And let the one who hears, say, ‘Come’.  And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.”                                                                      Revelation 22:17 (NASB)

His Word is concerning the Son, and it is a call from the Spirit of God, to the world, to come to the Son – For in the Revelation of the Son IS the true Revelation of God Himself.  Holy Spirit unequivocally bears witness to Jesus, to our Savior, to the finished work of the cross.  The breath of God’s Spirit, Beloved, is always voicing to us, in us, and with great desire, to voice out of us, Jesus Christ and Him crucified, towards all that is our redemption in all that Jesus’s blood is joyfully, without ending, declaring from the Judgment seat turned Mercy seat in heaven.  The more of the Breath of God’s Spirit to which we give voice through our own lips, the greater Holy Spirit in us bears witness to the finished work of the cross of Christ … and consequently to the increase of Jesus’s Government, as LORD of hearts, and thus increasingly, as Lord of nations.

When the Helper comes, whom I will send from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, Who proceeds from the Father (lit. also, “The (One)  from of-the Father going out”), He will bear witness OF ME!”                                                                                                                                                                       John 15:26  (NASB)

Do you see it, Beloved?  Look at the underlined of the above words of Jesus; “the Spirit of truth … will bear witness OF ME!

I believe there is a cry from the hearts of very many to really want to know God’s heart, to know what His Spirit is thinking, is saying, is doing.  I believe there are many who really want to know the truth, scripturally, concerning the Holy Spirit, Whom Jesus calls, “The Spirit of Truth”.  The Holy Spirit of God has been given to us to unveil the depths of God, of His heart, making known to us, to our hearts, the depths of God’s love for us, the why He would put the value of His Son’s very life, Jesus’s blood, into redeeming each one of us, a redemption that is yet greater in magnitude and glory than we have come to know, yet know in our hearts is there (I Cor. 2, esp vs 9-10).

The Father’s heart is so huge towards us, Beloved, towards each one, yet also towards whole nations, to the world, because each and every person ever born, the entire seed of Adam in the history of this planet, is His single heart’s intent toward redemption (Jhn. 3:14-17; I Cor. 13:7; II Pet. 3:9; I Jhn. 2:2);  He sacrificed His only begotten Son towards a restoration to all that was lost by Adam’s one sin back in the garden (Acts 3:20b-21; I Cor. 15:25-28).

Yes, every soul needs to bow their heart, their heart’s trust and believing, into God’s goodness through the sacrifice of His Son to the cross (Jhn. 3:17-18a; Acts 2:21; Rom.  10;13; I Cor. 1:22-24; Lk. 24:46-47; Mk. 16:15-16; Jhn. 12:32-33) … it is a free gift to every soul of every tribe and tongue, though it cost God immeasurably (Rom. 6:23b; I Pet. 1:18-19).  His Word made flesh and breathed into (anointed) by His own Holy Spirit, Named, “Jesus”, is the One who has caused us to know, to see, at least, just how great a love towards us Father God has.  The Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of the Father, God’s Holy Spirit, has been poured out to unveil to us “the great things of God”, the manifold goodness of His Love.

“… for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.  For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man, which is in him?  Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things freely given to us by God, … For who has known the mind of the LORD, that He should instruct Him?  But we have the mind of Christ.”                                                              I Corinthians 2:10b-12, 16 (NASB)

There is so much more on my heart for you, Beloved.  We will unveil more in the following Kairos.  I have intentionally referenced many, many verses from the Scriptures.  Look them up and let Holy Spirit bring them to life to you as you learn Him.  You are free to print this Kairos and to set it for Bible study in order to know Father more, in order to know Jesus more.  Go after learning this, but not to know this, rather far more, to know Him, to know Father and Son in learning their One single Holy Spirit.  Let your heart take courage in believing, Precious One, in anchoring your heart’s faith in bold hope of this Good News.

“… giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the (true/detailed/intimate) knowledge of Him, …”                                                                             excrpt frm  Ephesians 1:16-17

You are so loved, Beloved

kairos – (Kahee-ros’) – Strong’s concordance defines this word: “an occasion, I.e. set or proper  time.”  The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible (NASB) defines this word; “season, time, but not merely as a succession of moments, which is chronos,” [from which we derive the English word ‘chronology’].  “Kairos, however, implies not the convenience of the season, but the necessity of the task at hand, whether the time provides a good, convenient opportunity or not.”  This must be understood.  Strategic times of the Lord do not necessarily imply good or convenient times.  We are in Kairos times.  Maybe not good or convenient times, but definitely strategic, opportune times because of the season we are in.  We must have “ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches,” (Rev. 2:29), so as to respond correctly to the Kairos time.
