“HUSH … BE STILL!” – Silence The Noise of This Age’s Storm -> (A Sword of Grace Word)

” LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED
(Lit “Don’t let your heart get roiled [agitated]”
                        like water when it is caused to boil).
You believe into God, believe also into Me.”
–                                                          John 14:1

” Now it came about on one of those days,
that He and His disciples got into a boat,
… as they were sailing along, He (Jesus) fell asleep;

and a fierce gale of wind descended upon the lake,
and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.

And they came to Him and woke Him up, saying,
    “Master, Master, we are perishing!”

And being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the
surging waves, and they stopped, and a calm occurred.

And He said to them, Where is your faith?
                                        ( Where is your believing?)
                                          excrpt frm Luke 8:22-25a (NASB)

“And being aroused, He rebuked the wind and said to
the sea, “Hush, be still.”  And the wind died down and
a GREAT CALM occurred.

“And He said to them, “Why are you so timid?
               How is it that you have no faith (no believing)?
                                                                   Mark 4:39-400 (NASB)

–  The sword of Grace comes to us through the Scriptures, the rhema/living alive Word that unveils Jesus to us, because the dividing of soul and spirit that we allow to occur by Holy Spirit in this process sets Jesus’s cross’s victory of Peace from His life in us.  It makes room, in the soil of our heart, for faith to augment, to grow larger and more abundant, than we even dreamed was possible for ourselves (Mk. 4:20).

   It makes the greatness of the Kingdom of God, the victory of the cross over the stripped rule of the dominion of darkness, to be larger in our hearts and minds, giving our imaginations a solid rock foundation upon which to pursue actively increasing our believing for the impossible that we didn’t even consider before this.

  The Sword of Grace really is a grace working, because it slices off of us wrong heart believing about the reality of God’s goodness towards us for this life.  Father’s delight really is to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32), the rule of His Son from Heaven’s throne, beside God, to our lives, with the purpose of this Awesome reign through our lives to the world around us right where we live (Hebrews 4:12, 16; Ephesians 1:15-23).

  We can never see the working of Holy Spirit that divides in us between the soul realm and the spirit realm as “meanness”, or God the Father’s rebuke of anger.  Rather, it is is towards setting us into proper Sonship understanding in our believing and thus our actions and our words, … because as a Father and as God, He really is after setting into us the Entrustment of Jesus (that God the Father has (given) in Jesus) of Kingdom stewardship, of inheritance that is ours among the saints, towards the glory of Jesus’s Kingdom rule with us being established on earth as it is in heaven (Eph.  1:20-23; 3:10-12).

” For consider Him Who has endured such hostility
by sinners against Himself, so that you may not grow
weary and lose heart. You have not yet resisted
TO THE POINT OF SHEDDING BLOOD in your
striving against sin;” (as did JesusLuke 22:44;
Hebrews 5:7-8)
–                                                                Hebrews 12:3-4 (NASB)

“He was pierced through for OUR transgressions,
He was crushed for OUR iniquities;
The chastisement / The punishment for OUR shalom fell
            upon Him,
                   and in His stripes there is healing TO US.”
                       Isaiah 53:4 (NASB -1st 3 lines/Lit. Heb. last line)

  If we resist the corrections brought to us through the Sword of Grace by Holy Spirit, we are (wittingly or unwittingly) staying in childish rebellion, not willing to heed Father’s discipline towards growing us up into this Heart entrustment by Him of us as a Son or Daughter, to whom He wills to cause us to inherit (See Hebrews 12:1-13).  It is, even more than we realize, a covering of our eyes to the revelation He wants to unveil to us of just how much Punishment for our Shalom, our full well-being, that was put upon Jesus: we are literally shutting off the eyes of our heart, our spirit man, to Holy Spirit unveiling of the finished work of the cross that will bring us into revelation of weighty glory that He would reveal in us;  (the “glory” you pray to get to see or to be a part of will not get room in your heart for the answer from Him where you resist and/or refuse Holy Spirit’s sword of Grace through the word to divide soul and spirit).

  None of the above was written to discourage you whatsoever.  Holy Spirit says through the writer of Hebrews in chapter 12 that Father’s discipline of us comes out of heart of love that is far greater than our own father’s love for us.  Because the eternal blessings, which start here on earth, are the benefit to us through the lesson learned in the discipline.

“All discipline for moment seems not to be joyful, but
sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it,
afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness;”
                                                         Hebrews 12:11 (NASB)

  If you understood the punishment that Jesus took to for us, if you let sink into you the reality of His receiving what we deserved so that we don’t have to get what we deserved, then you can take hold of the Father’s love through whatever sword of Grace discipline He walks us through; because it unveils the punishment that we DON’T get in this discipline, knowing that that was willing received on our behalf by Jesus. (I’m in tears writing this last statement).  When I see believers resist the correction of  Holy Spirit’s discipline, which is for their benefit, I have witnessed their continuation in the rut that they say they want out of.   (A Bible school teacher, years ago, told us that “a rut is a grave with the ends knocked out”).

———————————–

  Jesus never told us that storms would not come. In Matthew 7:24-27, in the final words of His sermon on the mount, He actually indicated that the same storms would come to those who heard His word and acted upon (did) His word as well as to those who didn’t act upon (didn’t do) it, contrasting their “survival” at the end of the storm, with one being the house that stood against the raging flood and storm, while the other was a house collapsed by the very same episode.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives, do I give to you.
LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED,
NOR LET IT BE FEARFUL.

In the world you have tribulation, but take courage;
  I have overcome the world.”
                                                     John 14:27; 16:33b (NASB)

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world;
and this is the victory that overcomes the world – our
–     faith (our believing).
And who is the one who overcomes the world, but
he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”
                                                                      I John 5:4-5 (NASB)
–                                                                          (ref. John 1:12-13)

  Too many of God’s people have been letting their hearts be roiled (agitated to fear) because of the present storm going on throughout the earth, predominantly via the noise of media.  His children are like the disciples in the boat WITH JESUS, (thinking He’s asleep – but He’s not!! -> Isaiah 40:28), unaware that He already promised “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Heb. 13:5/Josh. 1:5b; Mat. 28:20b).

The noise of this age, with its media glitz and ongoing visual video blitzing through the glut of available social media, and the gangrene spread of opinions from every seeming sphere, has imprisoned/ has captured, the emotions of God’s people’s souls, that they cannot hear the ever powerful and present 2,000 year old victory of the cross in stripping the illegal squatter of his right and authority and power of sin over mankind (Colossians 2:15).

  The voice of the blood of Jesus, of which satan and his hoard are scared to death, has been deafened by the kingdom of darkness’s fear tactic of what he does through sound and color of all the media, in order to deceive believers of their royal seated position in Christ Jesus, that they might not believe the power from the authority of the finished work of the cross for this life.

For you HAVE NOT COME TO a mountain that may
be touched and to a blazing fire, and to DARKNESS
AND GLOOM AND WHIRLWIND
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of
the Living God, … to God, the Judge of all, … and to
Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, AND TO
THE SPRINKLED BLOOD, WHICH SPEAKS better
than the blood of Abel.
SEE TO IT THAT YOU DO NOT REFUSE THE
ONE SPEAKING.”
                     excrpt frm Hebrews 12:18-25a (NASB)

  Do you see what is your portion, Beloved?

  Though there is darkness and gloom and whirlwind in the earth, you have not come to this; command silence to the storm!

  This is not your inheritance, Beloved.  Therefore it is not your bank account of fear for you to go cash.  Yes, in the world you have tribulation; yet Jesus is our portion, our very life, in this world; and He already has overcome this world!  We are in Him, and He is in us (Col. 3:3; Jhn. 14:23; 17:21).

  So it behooves us to shut off this age’s noise that is screaming the lie non-stop that you’re in darkness and gloom and whirlwind, so as not to hear, or cause you to refuse to hear, the voice of the Blood and the Blood’s authority over you to cover you and rule through you.

  It is time to quiet your soul, Precious Saint – intentionally – and reconnect to the vine in Whom you are to be non-stopped abiding (John 15:4-5, 7-9).  Sit and soak in Psalms 37, and let Jesus wash your heart and mind with the washing of water with this Word;  …  a GREAT CALM will occur for you.

“Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child with his mother;
My soul is with me like a weaned child.”
–                                       Psalms 131:2 (JPS Tanakh 1917)

   We are not to be as the children of Israel gripped in fear before the Red Sea watching pharaoh and his army bearing down on us (Exodus 14:10-12).  We are not be as the same children of Israel giving our ears and souls’ attention to the bad news of the 10 spies who came back with a true report about the giants in the land, along with those 10’s consequential opinionated verdict that God’s promised inheritance was impossible for them to possess (Numbers 13:25-29, 31-14:4).

  That generation, Beloved, died in the wilderness instead of believing by faith in the faithfulness of the LORD, towards inheriting through His power, to do through them and for them the impossible, as He had done for them in Egypt in delivering them through the blood of a lamb from centuries of increased cruel slavery;  (Psalms 95 reveals the LORD’s heart concerning this generation that refused to pursue believing Him; it is an incredibly sad indictment upon a people so powerfully delivered by Him, upon whom He had set His Name) .

  That generation let their hearts be roiled by the news of the day of the giants that WERE THERE, instead of holding fast, like Caleb and Joshua, to the victory that was already a mantle on them from the finished work of the sacrificed lamb back in Egypt.

  Are you listening, Beloved?

  The question Jesus asked His disciples, after having calmed the storm, through His “Hush, be still” declaration of “peace I leave with you”, is the present question before you, to every single individual believer who has let their heart be roiled because of having let the media of this age be lord over your soul:

“And He said to them, “Why are you so timid?
        How is it that you have no faith (no believing)?

  Please don’t hear His words as though He is scolding you.  Whenever this gets asked of us, it is a place to turn TO the throne of Grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace – towards letting go of unbelief in exchanging it, in the presence of His speaking, cleansing, washing blood, for believing Him.

  Look, Beloved; there is incredible, amazing encouragement through the book of Hebrews towards each one of us taking advantage of Jesus … as the Apostle and High Priest of our confession (Heb. 3:1).

  Take whatever private time you need daily, however long it takes, to go through the book of Hebrews.  Don’t just read through it silently.  Be ever aware of Holy Spirit, of Jesus’s presence before you.  Make the words of the page, through verbal communication with Jesus, yours; … and watch what Holy Spirit plants and grows, as you make Jesus the High Priest of your confession, of your very believing, of your very faith! (2 Cor. 4:13).

 ” … , when the Son of Man comes,
                will He find faith on the earth?”
                                                          Luke 18:8 (NASB)

  It’s time to dump unbelief, Precious Saint.

–  It is time to shut off the noise the drives and roots unbelief and fear into the souls of men, and to go after hearing Holy Spirit of Jesus in us; (John 10:14, 27 – read all of Jesus’s words in John 10).

  It is time to give place to the grace of God in His presence to pursue Jesus, to pursue seeing Jesus in the scriptures till His faith is the believing garment into which you’re sunk (Lk. 24:25-27: 24;49; Gal. 2:20).

  It is time, therefore, to let go of the fear that so easily entangles and works to rob faith every time a suddenly takes place that originated in hell (Joshua 1:9; Proverbs 3:25 / READ THE FOLLOWING PASSAGE IN ISAIAH & LET IT SINK INTO YOUR HEART & MIND -> Is. 51:12-13).

  It is time, Beloved, to pursue the King and Savior that overcame the world, and stripped satan and his hoard; to pursue letting Christ Jesus our Lord cause believing faith, through the flood of the truth and power that is Almighty God’s love  for you already poured out in your heart, root and grow in us beyond what we have let Him do thus far (Rom. 5:5; Eph.3:20).

… (Selah) … (Let these words above sink for a moment before continuing.  Let Holy Spirit minister to you, & soak in & speak to your heart, before continuing)

———————————–

–  Father God our God expects a return, Beloved, on the investment of His Son and the deposit of His Spirit into us (Matt. 25:14-28; Lk. 19:11-26).   But this expectation comes with the Gracing of the promise of Holy Spirit in us, that same Holy Spirit Who was in Jesus with every miracle and healing, Who was the One giving life to Jesus in the tomb in raising Him for our benefit.  We have the Promise from God the Father of Holy Spirit as our Helper, that we might indeed grow in augmenting believing/faith (John 14:16-17, 26; 16:13-14;Rom. 10:17, 8-10 [in this order]).

  Please hear this in humility, and not as a command to obligation:  Some of you are going to have to take Jesus’s words seriously for yourself, which He spoke to His disciples after they pursued Him privately, in Matthew 17:19-21, to know why they were not able to see the force of His Kingdom work through them as it had so often previously.  They had to give their hearts, in humility, to hear His words divide soul and spirit, as it were, in them, that  His answer to them was their unbelief, and that they, if they wanted success where they had failed, (pertaining to His power flowing through them for situations such as what had just occurred), would need to pray and fast so as to set their spirit man beyond what their natural eyes were doing to cause them not to have faith.

  (Please do not let your heart and mind argue concerning New Covenant fasting in prayer.  Jesus’s answer to the Pharisees as to why His disciples were not then fasting revealed that there was going to come a time, after He was gone, that they would fast; and the following parable by Him, of new wine in new wine skins, and new patch for new cloth, is all in this context of fasting.  Moreover, Luke, in Acts, and Paul both make known that fasting was indeed a reality during the birthing & establishing of the church after Jesus’s ascension to heaven – Acts 13:2-4; 14:23; 2 Cor. 6:5; 11:27 ).

  God our Father’s delight is to give us the Kingdom, here and now, in this life for this life.  His Kingdom does not consist in Words alone, but in power, where the power of His word  becomes words confirmed by the power of signs and wonders  (Cor. 2:2-5; 4:20; Jhn 14:11-14; Mk. 16:17-18; Gal. 3:5).

  It’s time to pursue the force of faith through love working (the core of Gal. 5:6), where the power of God’s love for us through the finished work of the cross, the sacrifice of His Son for us, transforms us to becoming a Love that is God in us, confirming the force of that Love through the faith OF Jesus flowing through us (I Cor., 14:1; Gal. 2:20, Mk. 11:23), …

  … increasing through His body on earth, allowing Holy Spirit in US, the Body of Christ on earth, to augment the length and breadth and height and depth of the stature of the Son of God through the church (Ephesians 3:10; 4:13b), …

  … where nothing is impossible, because nothing to Baptized by God in Holy Spirit Jesus was ever impossible with Him (Ephesians 3:14-18; Mk. 9:23; 11:22-24).

  I’m going to encourage you in this pursuit of relationship with Jesus, where you dump unbelief and take hold of believing Him, increasingly, so that you get solidly rooted and grounded in faith and hope and love.  Let your heart take courage in this, Beloved!  Let the growth and process be graced to you without discouragement.  Remember, Father God’s DELIGHT is to give you the Kingdom, with all that this means.  He’s the One giving the breath of Grace towards getting rooted in Believing Jesus increasingly through open-faced, already opened heaven, living relationship.

  If you have never believed into Jesus Christ, you can do so now, from your own heart and words.  If you wish help to pray, pray, “LORD Jesus, I believe You died for me and as me because You love me.  I receive Your Forgiveness for my sin.  Thank You for shedding Your blood to cleanse me, for making me clean, for breaking the power of sin in my life, for transforming me as a gift of Your Grace to me.  I ask You to live inside of me.  I thank You, Jesus, for giving me eternal life, that I might know You and Your Father, as my God, forever.  In Your Name, LORD Jesus.  Amen!”

_  If you just believed into Jesus, if you prayed this prayer to believe into Jesus, it is of great importance that you be water baptized (Mk. 16:16a; Acts 10:47-48a; Rom.6:4).  And ask Jesus to baptize you in Holy Spirit & fire.  Share your faith, what Jesus has done for you.

–   For those of you who have believed into Jesus; take communion often (I Cor. 11:23-26; Lk. 24:30-31a).  Let communion be a refreshing of the Blood and the Spirit (Heb. 9:14) to cleanse your conscious from sin consciousness to righteousness consciousness, that you are indeed clean, as a gift of His grace.  You are no more, Dearly Beloved, under condemnation; rather, you are under justification – eternally! (Rom. 4:25b, 5:21;b; Heb. 9:11-12).  You will find the Holy Spirit of Jesus unveiling Jesus to you from the scriptures like you’ve never seen Him before.

kairos – (Kahee-ros’) – Strong’s concordance defines this word: “an occasion, I.e. set or proper  time.”  The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible (NASB) defines this word; “season, time, but not merely as a succession of moments, which is chronos,” [from which we derive the English word ‘chronology’].  “Kairos, however, implies not the convenience of the season, but the necessity of the task at hand, whether the time provides a good, convenient opportunity or not.”  This must be understood.  Strategic times of the Lord do not necessarily imply good or convenient times.  We are in Kairos times.  Maybe not good or convenient times, but definitely strategic, opportune times because of the season we are in.  We must have “ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches,” (Rev. 2:29), so as to respond correctly to the Kairos time.
