Baptism by Jesus … in Holy Spirit and 🔥 / Unveiling the FIRE, the Force of Holy Spirit Baptism through Believers – Part 1

My heart has been, through hunger, pursuing God, Father, to know Holy Spirit accurately through the ripped veil of the New Covenant.  In this pursuit I knew that there was going to be a fresh look at Acts 2, the “Fire”, a revelation of something, a “mystery”, as Paul calls the unveiling of Jesus from out of the Old Covenant (Eph. 3:3-9; Col. 1:26; 2:2), that shows what Father was pointing towards within the Old Covenant of this “Fire” in Holy Spirit Baptism.  In this pursuit, as with every pursuit I go after in really wanting to know the LORD my God, towards knowing His heart, I find myself “tearing open” every shred of treasure in the Bible that I can.  It all keeps setting my heart in fresh awe of Jesus, unveiling the heart of God our Father’s crazy awesome love towards us.

So it has been with this.  In the several months this has come to be way more than what I can release in one blog.  Therefore, this will be released in sections.  My heart is not to overwhelm you, (which I think I’ve done way too often in previous Kairos blogs).  I may in the end publish this as a whole … we shall see.  This study is still going on, and there is so much on my heart to unveil as to this Fire.

So here we go:

______________________________________________________

Part 1

“The (One) after me coming, mightier than me He-is, …

He-Himself, YOU will-He-BAPTIZE

IN Holy SPIRIT AND FIRE!

Matthew 3:11b  (Lit. frm Grk text)                                               (Ref. also Lk. 3:16)

a FIRE I came to cast upon the earth … “

Luke 12:49 (Lit. frm Grk text)

Baptism is a “dunking into”.  The word is derived from a verb meaning “to dip” as into a dye, with a resultant transformation, completely, wholly, of that which was submerged (into the color).

Yet the intention from the LORD, as seen in the scriptures, goes deeper than the likeness to cloth dyeing.  It is seen in the unintentional pun in English; for the transformation required demands a dying to the old and an emergence, literally a resurrection, into and unto a new life, where the “exceeding abundantly beyond all that we could ask or think” life can only be experienced and comprehended through the death involved in baptism.

The denotation of baptism, therefore, has always been transformation, from the inside out, through, yes, a dying, and a required, by God Himself, resurrection into something that does not, whatsoever, even resemble that previous life to which we died.

This is the work of Holy Spirit, through the finished work of the cross of Christ, in water baptism.  It is a supernatural working of transformation by our joining with Jesus in His dying to sin and being raised to newness of life unto God; (Mk. 16:16a; Rom.6, esp. vs 1-11); it is our death and burial to the Adamic nature into which we were born, and our Resurrection to new life in Jesus into which we are born again.  Water baptism is our seal confirming our initial believing into Jesus (see Acts 9:17-18;10:47-48a; 18:8), that we had chosen His life for our life IN our present life.  It is literally our death certificate … death to that Adamic bloodline and nature into which we were born (Rom. 5:12-19).

“Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?”  “For the death that He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.”  “Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.                                                                                Romans 6:3, 7:10, 6:4  (NASB)

To Christ I have been co-crucified.  I live though, yet no longer I; He lives, rather, in me, Christ!  That (life) which, then, now I live in (the) flesh, in faith I live – the (faith)  of the Son of God, the (One) having loved me and having given up Himself for me.”                                                                                                                                                   Galatians 2:20  (Lit. frm Grk text)

Yet the entire purpose of God the Father, in all that is water baptism AND Holy Spirit baptism, in all that is and means “being born again/being born from above” (as that which Jesus clearly stated, in His conversation with Nicodemus, in John 3:3-7), the complete immersion into water, which signifies death to this age – to this age’s breath, to this age’s very spirit which influences life and voice – and being raised up unto an opened heaven and the consequential pouring out immersion into God’s Spirit that is Holy ( – so that the newness of life unto God gives ear and breath to His Life, wholly Holy Supernatural, to His Spirit alone – ) is seen in and through Christ Jesus Himself.

We see the single cord that is this, from Jesus’s baptism at the very beginning of the revelation of the gospel (see Mk. 1:1-9), through all His words and deeds, all the way to His last breath on the cross, and then in His Resurrection.

Baptism in Holy Spirit AND Fire carries the same, undiluted denotation of a death to something and a Resurrection of that very thing that is so radically life changing, carrying an impact to this world as that of Jesus’s appearance to Israel when He came out of the desert testing, after having been water baptized and Holy Spirit baptized.

Please don’t be offended, precious Saint, at this teaching of Baptism in Holy Spirit as that which is distinct from initial believing and water baptism.   We saw initially in this series that Jesus’s very birth was by Holy Spirit (Lk. 1:35; Mat. 1:20).  He was every wit perfect.  When we believe into Jesus, being born anew into Him, this new birth is exactly as His birth, a work of Holy Spirit (Jhn. 4:24a, 1:12-13, I Pet. 1:3, Jhn. 14:16-17a, 16:8; Rom. 8:9).  Jesus,  having been born of the Spirit, according as was told to Mary & Joseph, still had to be baptized in Holy Spirit, into the Spirit of GOD, His Father.  Thus, as perfect Jesus, born through Holy Spirit, needed to be baptized in Holy Spirit, how much more we?!

Setting the Foreword towards Understanding this Baptism

You must understand, and it will be unveiled in this Kairos, why this baptism in Holy Spirit and Fire manifests in speaking in other tongues, why Father uses this imperative in and through us.  Please bear with me in unveiling this, Beloved.  It will become clear our need for this kind of perfect praying and decreeing.  You will see that there really is a distinction as to Holy Spirit in you (in New birth) and then you being (and living) in the Spirit, which manifests “naturally” through the words that are the regular outflow of your heart and mouth, and through the “natural” effortless supernatural believing of Christ Jesus through you to touch individuals, and so impact a world desperate for the “faith through love working” power of God.  For this manifestation through you is the revelation of the Person of Christ Jesus on earth, literally the gospel, the real living Good news, being read by the world.

You will understand the fire in this baptism, why we need it, why the world desperately needs this through the saints; you will see why we need, from the Spirit Who is Holy, this “other tongues.”  You will understand why it was that Jesus did not need it as we do, yet it is very much from Him unto us (“And these signs will accompany those who have believed: in My Name … they will speak with new tongues;” – Mk. 16:17) as a force of Grace through Holy Spirit, into Whom He “dunks” us in this baptism … all towards unveiling the “Christ” through “Christ”ians before the world so as to correctly unveil Jesus, so as to correctly reveal to the lost this crazy awesome Love that is ‘God’ towards them …

————-… and thus also stripping the king & kingdom of darkness of possessions not his anymore.

The unveiling of this baptism by Jesus of us in Holy Spirit AND Fire, I believe, is going set a fire in the earth unlike anything we’ve realized.  It is literally going to set hearts ablaze with the revelation of the Son of God, of an unparalleled, unprecedented unmerited Grace from the cross we have hardly tasted, a profound revelation of the depths of how exceeding is God’s forgiveness, how almost mind blowing is the truth of this Holy God’s loving-kindness in real, poured-out / experienced Mercy.

“Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?”  And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the scriptures ”                                                                                                                         Luke24:26-27 (NASB)

“And they said to one another, “Was not the heart of us BEING BURNED in us, as He was speaking to us on the road, as He was thoroughly-opening to us the scriptures?“”                                                                           Luke24:32 (Lit. frm. Grk  text)

The wealth of the riches of this costly Grace unveiled is way beyond our imagination  …  and will be revealed augmentingly through hearts baptized by Jesus in this single dual-force of baptism in Holy Spirit AND Fire.  It will set multitudes  – I believe whole nations – to weeping and tears unlike anything noted in the past.

“And I will pour out … the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they pierced;  and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly, like the bitter weeping over a first-born.”                                                                             Zechariah 12:10 (NASB)

“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him.  Even so.  Amen.”                                                                                                      Revelation 1:7  (NASB)

It will expose and drive out darkness that we never saw as darkness because of tolerance of grey zones in life, those places which are, in truth, darkness, places that ARE afraid of the light of this fire.

The impact of this dual force baptism – Holy Spirit AND Fire – will affect young generations in each nation, and will bring beyond present comprehension healing between generations, young with old.  It will burn away chaff that for too long we’ve thought was wheat, (pertaining to True New Covenant doctrine), which has been a root cause of generational splits, where the younger generation could not see validity in a proclaimed gospel of power that demonstrated so little power, and too often leaned on persuasive words of men’s wisdom, instead of through the power of Holy Spirit baptism, according to Paul’s declaration in I Corinthians 2:1-5.

Laying the Foundation for Dismantling Wrong Believing  Concerning our being Baptized by Jesus in Holy Spirit

It is absolutely impossible, Precious One, to be, (to live and walk in)  CHRIST-like(ness), (which means “ANOINTED–likeness”), apart from exactly how Father God set all that He showed us through Christ Jesus, His “exact nature to Himself” Son (Heb. 1:3).  For the revelation to us of Christ Jesus our life, through the gospels, is foundationed through the single braided cord of water baptism AND Holy Spirit baptism, as we have seen at length in this Unveiling Holy Spirit series.

The reason has to do with all that is and means His purposed, destined transformation entirely, of every soul redeemed, every single one who has believed into Jesus, not just out of the Adamic nature alone, rather far more, into the nature of Christ, the very Spirit of Christ Jesus (Rom.8:9-10, 29), which includes the authoritative power of the resurrected Jesus, of the Anointed One Who makes known all that is salvation (i.e. Lk. 24:44-49; Jhn. 14:12; Rom. 8:29-30; II Cor. 3:16-18; 5:16-17).

Why?  Because this single strand of His nature, through His words AND demonstration of power, in breaking the stronghold of the kingdom of darkness to people and transforming their thinking, and thus their believing, to really know how crazy awesome only good He is through this Good News, unveils the full truth of the nature and character of our LORD God Himself.  (i.e. Mk 1:9-11, 21-27, 39-34; 2:12b / Jhn. 8:31b-32; Rom. 12:2; II Cor. 2:15b).

He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?  Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me?  The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.  Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; otherwise believe on account of the works themselves.”                                                                                                                                                                                John 14:9b-11 (NASB)

Father has been blamed, Precious Ones, as God, for so many evils for centuries, both by those who have not believed into Jesus and by those who have.  We say theologically in our heads, and sometimes in song, that “God is good”; yet at large, I think, we are not fully convinced, in our hearts or our minds, that He really is always and only Good.   And that is based upon life experience instead of truth.  I believe in large part this has to do with wrong doctrine which has dismissed baptism in Holy Spirit as a present Grace-truth for believers – individually, and thus the corporate full expression of the power of the Resurrection through the Bride of Christ as a whole – as it had been with Jesus and in the Acts’ early church, as though this was finished with the death of the last apostle and/or with the finished compilation of the Bible.

–  In dismissing this part of the nature and character of ‘God’ being established in and through Jesus’s body on earth, of that which was the fullness in the early church, that which was understood as a full part of new birth, “being born from above – in water and in Spirit” (Acts 19:1-6), there has been robbed from the bride of Christ and the world the truth of the very nature of ALL-Mighty God, our heavenly Father – the authoritative power of Who He is, Who really is, through His Body, the risen and ascended to THE highest throne CHRIST Jesus Who completely stripped the king and kingdom of darkness at the cross.  It has robbed an aspect of the character of God’s love, of the force of God’s heart to fully and utterly free people – THROUGH JESUS on earth, (the church) His body – from the clutches of and wrong thinking by the stripped king of darkness devil.

This has also robbed Jesus of the reward of His suffering in reaping some of the harvest of nations, of precious individuals, because this evil doctrine has pushed to some future arbitrary date this kingdom inheritance.

By this, it has unwittingly robbed as well as a complete faith believing, full “Son of God” stature by the church of a present fully stripped devil, giving back to the devil the right to continue to wreak havoc until when God decides Jesus can alas get off His throne, snatch the church off the earth, and then pour out judgment, and then and only then come back to earth with the church and finally give to us all that He died for.  Such belief has robbed the truth, from true heart persuasion, that God really, really is only Good, and that the devil really has no present right or authority since the cross … that the church actually does have the power under the authority of our King Jesus to do as Lord Jesus did, and so to be like Him when He was destroying the works of the devil through deliverances and by healings (Acts 10:38; I Jhn. 3:8b; Lk.10:19).

This doctrine of dismissing baptism in Holy Spirit as it was in the early church has caused too many believers to therefore see a bigger devil than a stripped, defeated devil and the Greatness of our present ruling King who stripped him; it has thus produced a believing that darkness is growing greater and greater instead of the light of the Gospel and the increase of Jesus’s Government according to the scriptures (Is. 9:7; Dan. 2:34-35, 44; Ps. 110:1).

Consequently, it has, in truth, caused the world to still see and believe in a mean God and duped Christians who can’t explain why the evil, except that God is “sovereign” so He’s allowing this to happen.

But the gospel is not like this whatsoever!

Father is working by His Holy Spirit to glorify His Son through a growing number of believers throughout the earth who choose to believe God has not changed, that Jesus’s promises that we can do what He did and greater, ARE present Grace-truths which were never taken away.

Unveiling “Christ” Jesus Through Holy Spirit Baptism Reveals “the Force” of God’s LOVE to Set People Free

The exact imprint, the express image of the nature of God is fully seen in Jesus after His baptism in Holy Spirit.  Accordingly, Christ Jesus in this world, as in the gospels, is still Christ Jesus through His body on earth now, still unveiling the truth, the very authoritative power of God’s awesome love for mankind.  Nothing in God, nothing in His character and thus in His purpose and destiny through Jesus (which means, through Jesus’s body on earth via His headship as King of kings on the most powerful throne in existence) towards mankind, has changed!

“For I, the LORD [YHVH} do not change ”                                                                                                  Malachi 3:6a (NASB)

“Jesus Christ – yesterday and today the same, and forever.”                                                                                                                                                                       Hebrews 13:8 (lit. frm. Grk txt)

Therefore, you must consciously carry, in your thinking and understanding, Precious saint, every time you see the Name, “CHRIST”, that this has everything to do scripturally, intentionally, with Holy Spirit baptism.

Jesus is the Word of God made flesh.  CHRIST Jesus is the Word of God made flesh baptized in Holy Spirit, that is, dunked into the anointing of the supernatural holy nature that is the character of the force of Who God is – His dominion and might, His power – all rooted literally in the consuming fire of unmixed, beyond comprehension, unconditional love.

You cannot, through teaching & preaching the gospel, in unveiling Who God IS  (not “was” – [“I AM that I AM” / “I, YHVH, DO NOT CHANGE”] ref. also I Cor. 2:1-6) – separate the power of God from all that is the Love of God; His power flows entirely out of His love.  Because His heart towards mankind is that we live entirely delivered out of all that is the product of the kingdom of darkness, out of all that to which the tree of the knowledge of good and evil has borne fruit in our lives, anything and everything that produces death.  His heart overflows with love’s desire to unveil and thus cause us to be transformed by, and to live in, the glory, the inheritance of Who He is as fully seen in Jesus as He is now, this side of the cross, resurrection, and ascension; (Rom.5:2b; II Cor. 3:18; Lk.12:32; et al).

The power and love of God is the single unity of the force of His Kingdom because this comes out of Who He is as ALL-Mighty God, our Heavenly Father, the very DNA, if you will, of Who He is as Love.

“God, ‘LOVE’ He is! “                                                                                                                                                               I John 4:8b AND 16.                                              (Lit. frm Grk txt in Grk txt wrd order)

Through this nature of His that is Christ Jesus our LORD/Lord, in Whom we have both redemption through His blood AND are thus now of His bloodline instead of the first Adam’s, we are grace-gifted  that Kingdom inheritance, which was purchased with the cost of ALL-Mighty God’s Son’s life, the cost of Jesus’s life blood spilled, towards our COMPLETE redemption (Eph.1:3-11) … not just our Spirit, but also body and soul (III Jhn. 2).  This costly inheritance is a PRESENT/THIS LIFE Grace-truth!

“For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you, and your love for all the saints, do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe.  These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come.  And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him who fills all in all.”                                                                                                                                                    Ephesians 1:15-23 (NASB)

–  It is the force of the resurrection power that is destined and purposed to be a living reality to the church now (i.e. Gal. 3:5), and consequentially, by the working of Holy Spirit transformation, THROUGH the church now, which also brings about the reward of Jesus’s suffering by His Father as Christ Jesus sits on the throne with God, with His Father, until every single enemy is set by God under His feet …

——– –… which means under OUR feet, we who have believed into Jesus and are thus one with Him on His throne (Eph. 2:6; Col. 3:1-3; Rom. 5:17b), and His body on earth! (I Cor. 12:27)

“but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onwards until His enemies be made a footstool for His feet.”                                                                  Hebrews 10:12-13 (NASB)

“For He (Jesus) must reign until He (God) had put ALL His enemies under His feet.  The last enemy that will be abolished is death.”                                                                                                                                                I Corinthians 15:26-26 (NASB)

“But God … raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus.”                                                                                                 excrpt frm Ephesians 2:4-6 (NASB)

Look at this verse from Galatians and see the nugget in what Paul wrote.  I’ll show you the full verse, then pull out the negative to unveil that which has been declared above.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power ( ἰσχύει – force” ), but only faith working through love.”                                                                                                                                                        Galatians 5:6  (Berean Lit. Bible)

“For in Christ Jesus … force … (is) faith through love working”                                                                                                                                                                                                             (frm. Grk. txt)

God the Father’s Heart, His heartbeat of pure love for us, Beloved, is unveiled through Christ Jesus the moment Jesus comes out of the testing of the desert and demons start being cast out of scores of His people, and healings left and right take place all over the territory of Galilee (ref. Mat. 4:23-25; Mk. 1:21-45).  This revelation of God in their midst (“Immanuel”) was the “force of  faith through love working” through Jesus

“Jesus from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those being oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.”                                                                                                                                                             Acts10:38 (Berean Lit. Bible)

All of the testimony of Christ Jesus through all that He accomplished, in the exuding of who He was as a Loved Son, (unveiled as such in His Holy Spirit baptism as He was coming up out of water baptism), was to be the prophetic victory of Jesus’s cross and resurrection.

” … marked out Son of God IN POWER according to [the] Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of [the] dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;”                                                                                                                                                                Romans 1:4 (Darby Bible Trnsltn)

The same “force of faith through love working”, that attained victory won through Jesus’s cross, works through His body on earth, through those having believed, those having been baptized into water AND baptized in Holy Spirit and Fire.  This is literally how presently, now on earth, the power and force of God’s Resurrection of Jesus His Son is manifested.

Are you listening ? …

… Selah ! …

You are greatly Loved, Beloved!

kairos – (Kahee-ros’) – Strong’s concordance defines this word: “an occasion, I.e. set or proper  time.”  The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible (NASB) defines this word; “season, time, but not merely as a succession of moments, which is chronos,” [from which we derive the English word ‘chronology’].  “Kairos, however, implies not the convenience of the season, but the necessity of the task at hand, whether the time provides a good, convenient opportunity or not.”  This must be understood.  Strategic times of the Lord do not necessarily imply good or convenient times.  We are in Kairos times.  Maybe not good or convenient times, but definitely strategic, opportune times because of the season we are in.  We must have “ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches,” (Rev. 2:29), so as to respond correctly to the Kairos time.
