Unveiling The Fire🔥Part of Baptism by Christ Jesus of Us in Holy Spirit – Are You Ready?

___________Daniel 3:21 (NASB) & 25 (Lit. frm Aramaic)

For months my heart has been asking and pursuing revelation understanding of something my spirit knew was there in Acts 2 pertaining to Jesus’s baptism of us in Holy Spirit.  I knew there was something fresh, something from Father, our Almighty God, that we weren’t seeing, or to which weren’t giving proper heed.

I haven’t been able to draw away from this hunger to know Holy Spirit and this baptism of us by Christ Jesus our LORD/Lord in Holy Spirit AND Fire (as one complete whole), all towards really learning and knowing Holy Spirit, the clear working of Him in and through us, through the unmixed purity of the New Covenant.

There is an unveiled truth of Holy Spirit – (not diluted through the dark lens of an Old Covenant thinking & believing that is wholly apart from the revelation of Christ Jesus) –  through the Person of Jesus as He was revealed to the world AFTER having been baptized by God, His Father, in Holy Spirit.  My heart’s longing is for the church, the Bride of Christ, to really learn and know Holy Spirit through this unmixed purity of Grace and Truth that is Christ Jesus our LORD, this side of the cross and the resurrection AND ascension to God’s throne; (Jhn. 1:14-18, 33-34; 2 Cor. 5:17b).

Part of my heart’s search has been for revelation from the scriptures specifically of this baptism in Fire, the second part of John’s proclamation of what kind of baptism of us this was going to be by “the Mightier One coming.”

I am keenly aware that a number of theologians, going all the way back to the 2nd century, believe this part of John’s declaration of this baptism, that of “Fire”, is not a part of Jesus baptizing believers in Holy Spirit, rather that they believe it is a separate baptism, of unbelievers, in judgment.  Yet John’s words through the Greek text’s use of the conjunction “and” , between “Holy Spirit” and “fire”, in the construction of this proclamation (“you will-He-baptize in Holy Spirit AND fire !”) bears witness against this belief – (see quote below this paragraph).  Moreover, it misses the impact of the prophetic Old covenant action from Exodus 19 in the Acts 2 New Covenant fulfillment through what took place with those believers in that upper room.

and with fire —To take this as a distinct baptism from that
of the Spirit—a baptism of the impenitent with hell-fire —
is exceedingly unnatural.”
(JFB)

We will look back to that Old covenant encounter, as well as to another incident, which, (it was like Holy Spirit opened my eyes to unveil exactly the picture of what John was decreeing), completely stunned me ( – I’ve never heard or seen this occurrence taught pertaining to John’s words – ); and thus we will come to see the New Covenant intention of God our Father in this baptism by Jesus of us.

What is going to be unveiled in this Kairos is so fresh because it has been being unveiled from Father through these days as my heart has been asking questions of Him pertaining to the scriptures’ definition of ‘baptism’ itself, and what it consequentially means as to this Fire.  That which takes place in Acts 2:2-4 is a clear picture of what is the consummate accomplishment of ‘baptism’, of the very purpose of ‘baptism’.

—————————————————

It was stated in Part 1 of this “Baptism by Jesus … in Holy Spirit and Fire” series,  “Baptism is a “dunking into”.  The word is derived from a verb meaning “to dip” as into a dye, with a resultant transformation, completely, wholly, of that which was submerged (into the color). … The denotation of baptism, therefore, has always been transformation, from the inside out …”  This is the true understanding of “baptism”, and therefore carries over in Holy Spirit’s intention through John’s proclamation of exactly what Jesus was going to do of us as to this baptism, not only in Holy Spirit, rather more, as one consummate whole, in Holy Spirit AND Fire.

What Holy Spirit has unveiled from out of the scriptures, of this part of this baptism by Jesus, I did not expect.  My heart is in a kind of awe wonder of our LORD, and in growing longing/hunger for this, not only for me, but for the entire body of Christ on earth right now.  I believe we’re in need of a fresh baptism by Christ Jesus of exactly all that is this decree through John by the anointing of Holy Spirit upon him.

“The (One) after me coming,  … He-Himself,
YOU will-He-BAPTIZE IN Holy Spirit and FIRE!
__                                           Matthew 3:11b  (Lit. frm Grk text)

I believe this specifically is going to utterly change  the sound of the Bride of Christ in the ears of the world.

__Her words, her voice, will be the sharpest sword and purest honey from the finished work of the cross of Christ, from the Tree of Life alone, from the fire of God’s unmixed heart of Love through the Word AND Power of the gospel that is the natural outflow of her very life.

_ ALL OF THIS will be, in order to both unveil, before the world, the true character of her LORD/Lord that is wholly a part of who she is, and towards the purpose that mankind be utterly character transformed by faith through grace that is in Jesus’s death as us on the cross and His Resurrection to new life that is our Life unto Holy God made our Father (Eph. 1:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Rom 6:4-11; Col. 3:1-17).

Fire shall be kept burning continually on
the altar (lit. rooted in a wrd meaning a “place of sacrifice”);
it is NOT to go out.”

“For I did not decide anything to know among you except Jesus Christ, and This (One), having been crucified.”                                                                           I Corinthians 2:2 (frm. Grk. Txt)

“And He said to them, … “Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?”  And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, He explained to them the things CONCERNING HIMSELF in all the scriptures.”

“And they said to one another, “Was not the heart of us BEING BURNED in us, as He was speaking to us on the road, as He was thoroughly-opening to us the scriptures?” ”                                                         Luke24:25-27, 32 (Lit. frm. Grk  text)

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this,
that one died for all, therefore all died: and He died for all,
that they who live should no longer live for themselves,
but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
Therefore, from now on we recognize no man according
to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according
to the flesh, yet now we know
Him thus no longer.
Therefore if any man is in Christ,
he is a new creature;
the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to ___Himself through Christ,
and gave [to] us the ministry of reconciliation, namely,
that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,
___NOT counting their trespasses against them,
and He has committed TO US the word of reconciliation.

Leviticus 6:12a (NASB)   Also v 9b, 13

There is a revelation truth through the Cross, this New Covenant cut through the costly sacrifice in Jesus’s blood, pertaining to the “Fire” that is a part of this baptism by Christ Jesus of us (Lk.24:26-32).

.   It is a fire of revelation, of understanding by the breath of Holy Spirit in us, making known through us what was always on God our Heavenly Father’s heart, all through the Old Covenant, this Salvation of us, of the world, by the sacrifice specifically of His own doing through His own Son (Jhn. 20:20-22; Rom. 3:21-26; 1 Jhn. 2:2).

_  Look again at the verses above from Leviticus 6; the fire required to be kept burning has to do with sacrifice.  Jesus told the two on the road to Emmaus pertaining to His sacrifice what was declared of Him in the scriptures “beginning from Moses”.  What the LORD was instructing Moses emphatically about the High Priesthood keeping the fire burning has intentional New Covenant mystery, to be unveiled through the sacrifice of Jesus (Eph. 3:4-5; Col. 1:26-27, 2:2).

_ The ongoing revelation by Holy Spirit of God, of the finished work of the cross of Christ Jesus our Savior from the scriptures, is the working of Grace and Truth towards transforming the Spirit of our minds, so that the Light of such glory and the fragrance of this sacrifice emanates out of who we are as sons and daughters of the Living God (2 Cor. 5:6-7; 2:14).

This was the reason Paul kept alive in the churches the ongoing truth, through proclamation, ‘the finished work of the cross.’

“For I did not decide anything to know among you except
Jesus Christ, and This (One), having been crucified.
_                                                     I Corinthians 2:2 (frm. Grk. Txt)

He was after this Fire not going out!  He wanted their hearts being burned, as it were, within them, of the living truth of the Word thoroughly unveiled to the saints.  For this is where the Life of the Word, indeed, the power of Holy Spirit, brings a Grace-truth for faith (I Thess. 2:13), that is, towards active believing the hope of Glory, unto such transformation from this age’s thinking and believing, unto the glow of the glory of the image of the Son of God into which we are destined by God’s purpose of Love; (Rom. 5:1-2; 8:29-30; 2 Cor. 3:17-18; Eph. 1:3-6; et al).

.   That transformation (sanctification) of us, our walk and our talk, wholly includes walking in the power of Holy Spirit, exactly as we witness of Jesus in the gospels; (Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:8a; Heb.2:4).

I believe this complete whole baptism frees us from a tied up bondage of wrong believing concerning especially the power of God.  It will set into the Bride of Christ a reverential fear of her awesome Lord, towards willingly giving her heart’s confidence, her heart’s full trust and faith, to her Lord’s Spirit in her, with His Word (the Scriptures), letting Holy Spirit in her fully transform her into her Lord’s Royal glory that is His character.

__This will also set forth an Awe in the world of the God she serves, the only true and living God.

__This complete baptism by Jesus of us in Holy Spirit AND Fire will unveil to the world through us the God that Jesus through the gospels made known to the Jewish people, of God’s crazy Awesome goodness, through miracles, healings, words of knowledge, etc.  It was an authority expressed from heaven through Jesus, (& thus is to be exactly so through His body still on earth), setting people(s) free from any and every clutch of the kingdom of darkness (i.e. Mk. 1:27).

It was a power expressed through the weighty authority of Jesus’s walk and His talk as a man utterly dead to sin, utterly dead to missing the mark of the weighty glory of God, so that the liberty in which He lived was the fullest brightest light of the expression of the purity of God, of the fullness of God’s love towards man that is holy.

_ We see ALL OF THIS through Christ Jesus only AFTER He was baptized by God His Father in Holy Spirit, not before.

And I did not recognize Him, …”

John 1:31a   (NASB)

And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize
in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit
descending and remaining upon Him, this is the one Who
baptizes in Holy Spirit.'”
__                                                  ___________       John 1:33  (NASB)

“I have beheld the Spirit descending as a Dove
out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.”
_                                                                              John 1:32b  (NASB)

“we beheld the glory of Him,
_a glory as of an only begotten from Father,
_ full – of grace and of truth.”
_                                                           John 1:14b (Lit. frm Grk. Txt)

Do you see, Beloved, that John the Baptist said twice that he did NOT recognize Jesus, that it took Jesus being baptized in Holy Spirit to recognize that this was the One about Whom he’d been proclaiming was coming to baptize us in Holy Spirit and Fire?

The Word of God manifested to the world in flesh and blood was not manifested to the world apart from His being baptized in Holy Spirit!

_  The anointing of God that brings to light the power of the Life that is His word can only come to be through the body of Christ still on earth exactly as it had to be for Christ Jesus, a baptism into death and then an open heaven baptism in Holy Spirit that actually is a baptism likewise in Fire.

_ The Old Covenant’s lampstand bears witness to this New Covenant truth (Ex. 25:31-37; 40:25; Rev. 1:20b; Eph. 5:8-9).  The light of that lampstand could only be set and kept burning by the oil that had to be poured in for the wick to be set with fire by the high priest (Lev. 24:1-4; Num. 8:2-3).  The lampstand was already pure (gold), formed and fashioned into its beauty; but it still needed the oil for the fire of its light to not go out in order to properly shine and glow its brilliance.  He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

” God … is the One Who has shone in our hearts
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God
in the face of Christ … we have this treasure in earthen
vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power
may be of God … ”
                                                          2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NASB)

” the love of God has been poured out within our hearts
through Holy Spirit Who was given to us.”
_                                                               Romans 5:5b  (NASB)

This Glory of our Resurrected, Ascended, Throne Seated Lord Jesus to be unveiled in this earth, unveiling His EXACT nature – in Word AND in Power – as did He of His Father through the gospels (Heb. 1:3; Jhn. 1:18), can only come in full brightness through our being likewise baptized in Holy Spirit and Fire.  Because this full expression of Christ Jesus through Christ-ians unveils the ripped veil access of Grace to the whole world into the Holy of Holies, making known the brightness of God’s true unconditional love poured out – in Word AND Power – through His own beyond costly sacrifice (Is. 53:4-6, 8; Rom. 5:5-8; Heb. 10:15, 17-22).

“And my message and my preaching were not
in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration
of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not be
in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
_                                                               I Corinthians 2:4-5 (BLB)

This baptism of us by Christ Jesus our LORD, the world’s Savior, is a revelation that we actually can live and walk in the fire that is God our Father’s power and purity, His very nature, which is our graced destiny through Christ Jesus (Eph. 1:4).  And because this is so, it is, in truth, a fountain of life, of the intensity of God’s love, of the truth of God’s love – His very Life – in us and therefore to be a river of life OUT OF US to a thirsty world (Jhn. 7:38-39).

The power of God and the Love of God as One single flow of Christ Jesus’s life out of us, Christ’s very body on earth, is the force of His Dominion through us that gets into the fray to destroy the works of the kingdom of darkness from out of peoples’ lives, manifesting to the principalities & powers in the heavenlies the Resurrected Person of Christ Jesus the King, and to the nations the true nature of “God” in liberating from sin and condemnation and from the effects of sin, (anything & everything that came as a result of the fall through Adam in the garden – Gen. 3:6b-19), into God’s ‘from eternity’ destiny for every soul.

__It is this baptism, as a royal gift – His robe and signet ring (Esth. 6:8, 8:2) – of the power of His Resurrection and the authority of His placement by God His Father to the Throne, this dunking / clothing by Christ Jesus of us in Holy Spirit and Fire, that there is set in us a Gracing towards seeing fulfilled this glorification of our LORD’s sufferings’ full and complete accomplishment … till every enemy is set by God under His feet.

Unveiling The Old Covenant’s Baptism …  In Fire

“I am seeing men, … UNBOUND /
_  having-been-loosed / HAVING-BEEN-SET-FREE,
_     walking in (the) midst of (the) fire …
_                            Daniel 3:21 (NASB) & 25 (Lit. frm Aramaic)

The Historical Foundation for Pentecost’s “Fire”

_  Leviticus 23:9-21 tells us of this Feast after Passover and Unleavened Bread, called “Feast of Weeks” (שָׁבֻעוֹת – Shavuot).  It is 50 days after the Sheaf wave offering of the first sheaf of what was to be their first harvest.

_ This wave of the sheaf occurred most probably during the week of Unleavened bread, which itself was initiated by Passover (Lev. 23:4-14 – this “Sheaf wave offering” is spoken of by the LORD in the context of the first month’s ‘appointed times’).  The first sheaf breaking through the ground and offered took place the day after the Sabbath.  It was a pointing towards Jesus being the first fruits from the dead (I Cor. 15:20,23; Col. 1:18) the day after the Sabbath (Lev. 23:11; Mat. 28:1-6a; Mk. 16:1-2).

_ Fifty days later was the presentation of the New Grain offering, this “Feast of Weeks”, a first fruits/new grain offering celebration (Num. 28:26ff) also know as “Feast of Reaping/Feast of Harvest” (Ex. 23:16)(Let your ears hear, Beloved, what is being spoken by the Spirit through the ripped veil of the New Covenant).  This was a celebration of the first harvest of many harvests to take place throughout the remainder of the growing season (Deut. 16:10-11)(Pentecost is not 50 days after Passover, but 7 full weeks after the wave offering of the first sheaf to break up through the ground).

“While the earth remains,

Seedtime and harvest

SHALL NOT CEASE. “

Genesis 8:22 (NASB)

The revelation of the first harvest of the Jews from among the nations (Acts 2:5-10) unto salvation on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:41 comes to be with the New Covenant unveiling of this Feast, (so that they in turn might take this good news to the non-Jews of the nations in which they lived – the continual harvest … AND  ongoing fulfillment, through Christ Jesus, of the LORD’s word to Abraham in Gen. 12:3b / Ref. also Gal. 3:8; Jhn. 17:18-20; Jhn. 10:16).

While the LORD gives us “the regulations” as to this feast from Leviticus, it is the Mt. Sinai occurrence specifically, starting from Exodus 19, that gives us the prophetic indicator towards God our Father’s Divine intention and purpose in the Acts 2 New Covenant fulfillment of what this baptism in Holy Spirit and Fire is meant to be.

“In the third month after the sons of Israel had gone out of
the land of Egypt … they came to the wilderness of Sinai,
… and there Israel camped in front of the mountain.”
_                                                 excrpt frm Exodus 19:1-2  (NASB)

“And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet
God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.  Now
Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the LORD had
descended upon it in fire; …  When the sound of the trumpet
grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered
him with thunder
(Lit,with a sound.”) … And the LORD
called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went
up.”
_                                         excrpt frm. Exodus 19:17-20  (NASB)

_ The day accounted to this day by the Jews as the very first time “Shavuot” – “Feast of Weeks” was initiated has to do with the LORD descending in Fire with a loud sound.  This was to be when the Law was first declared into the ears of God’s people.

Moses went up into the sound and the fire unto God!

“the LORD had descended upon it in fire; … God answered
with a sound. … And the LORD called Moses to the top
of the mountain, and Moses went up.”

_ Here is the link, Beloved, the Old Covenant’s prophetic indicator of the better New Covenant promise to come, that which was to be, according to Luke in Acts 2:1, “… the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, (YLT).

Moses would come down, warn the people not to come up, at which point the LORD proclaims to them the Law, the ten commandments (Ex. 19:25-20:17; Deut. 4:11-13; 5:2-26).

_ The people are absolutely terrified by this whole scene before them.  This entire spectacle has one major effect on the people, which is so monstrous in its repercussions, for the life of the Law, through to Jesus’s day some 1,500 years later, (and still does).  What would take place on the day of Pentecost would have a completely opposite effect.  The sound of the Law in contrast to the sound of Holy Spirit have entirely different outcomes.

“And all the people perceived the thunder (lit “sounds”)
and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet
and the mountain smoking
(because of the Fire);
and when the people saw
it, they stood at a distance.

Then they said to Moses, “Speak to us (Lit. “with us”)
yourself and we will listen; BUT DO NOT LET GOD SPEAK
to us (Lit.with us), lest we die. … So the people stood at a
distance, while Moses approached the thick cloud where
God was.”
_                                                                Exodus 19:17-20 (NASB)

Moses was “baptized”, as it were, in the sound and the fire at the initial giving of the Law.  And it was a spectacle that caused such  a fear in the people enough to keep them FROM drawing near, AND ALSO FROM wanting to hear the voice of the LORD for themselves (Ex. 20:19).

“All the people perceived the thunder and the lightning
flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain
smoking (frm the fire -19:18); and when the people saw it,
THEY trembled and STOOD AT A DISTANCE.”
_                                                                       Exodus 20:18 (NASB)

” … they said …, “ DO NOT LET GOD SPEAK with us

             Exodus 20:19

_  The terrible consequence of not wanting to draw near to, nor to hear from, the LORD themselves, in sending another to go hear God for them, is borne witness to over the following forty days.

.   While Moses is up the mountain “in the sound and the fire” of the presence of the LORD, to hear for the people, (to receive the plans of heaven, literally (Ex. 25:40; Heb. 8:5), with a copy of what it’s like in heaven, so that these people could reproduce these plans in what would be known as ‘the tabernacle’), the people are down the mountain living it up in the flesh, with idolatry and adultery, forsaking the LORD Who had so powerfully delivered them from out of Egyptian slavery in order to lead them into a promised inheritance (Ex. 32:1-6).

_ Even though the Law came from the LORD, it was taken (and still is) as yelling against flesh, against the Adamic sin nature in unregenerate man.

.   The voice of the Law just does not cause people at large to want to draw near to God, because such holiness is fearful.  Consequently, such “distance” is perceived as Him being far away; and His voice, either unknowable and/or unhearable.

_ The Law does not unveil God’s Grace from His Face, rather is a mirror back at man, showing him a detailed knowledge of his own sin (Rom. 3:20b; I Tim. 1:9-10).  Who wants to hear the Law, which carries no power of grace to transform, yelling at our sin nature? (Rom. 7:14-23; 8:7).  All it can minister is condemnation.

.   In truth, what the Law does is activate the law of sin (the voice of sin) in your flesh; it is the power of sin, not the entrance way to the LORD’s awesome Presence to receive grace for deliverance and transformation from the wretchedness of sin in the flesh  (I Cor. 15:56b; Lev. 16:2a).

We know that about 3,000 died at Mt. Sinai, when Moses came down the mountain to give them the Law engraved for them on stone tablets (Ex. 32:28).

.   The sound and fire at the voice of the Law had put no heart in the people to want to hear YHVH for themselves, rather had caused them to draw so far back, (in their waiting to hear from a man who went to hear from the LORD for them), that they ended up sinking into ‘activated-by-law’ ‘sin-in-the-flesh’ immorality.

“for our God is a consuming fire.”                                                                                                                                     Hebrews 12:29 (NASB)

“Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire?”                                                                                                                    Isaiah 33:14b (BSB)

_ Even so, the prophetic voice, God our God’s intention – that New Covenant mystery – had been made.

_ This consuming-fire God was, had always been from eternity, singularly focused towards all that the sacrifices of the Law to be made were pointing towards and prophesying.  Sinai’s loud sound and Fire encounter with a man entering the Fire of His presence and the sound of His voice had set into this age the target fulfillment of Acts 2:1-4.

_ The LORD, YHVH, would restate through prophets the promise of His own heart, that of getting man baptized in the consuming fire of His nature, His Spirit (Is. 32:15, et al), where he could stand, and his tongue could be changed into the uprightness of His righteousness that is also full of His Word AND Power, that is, His very Spirit which is Holy.

_  Our Awesome God was setting forth, through the Law (Rom.3:21), an unstoppable predestined purpose, towards a work of His own doing  – a power-Gracing ultimate sacrifice  – towards obtaining a redeemed people in which to accomplish what could not be done at the foot of Mt. Sinai (Acts 2:23, 33; Eph. 1:4-5).

_ The approximately 3,000 who died because of the enforcement of the Law’s voice, from which fire & sound they drew back, was no arbitrary number before Holy God in heaven; Holy Spirit intentionally had Moses to scribe this number pertaining to this first Shavuot.  This number, of the seed of this people yet to be born, was set for the most joyful harvest feast ever to be celebrated.

_ That one to come … would have a running towards the sound and fire, not a distant staying away.

Selah ! …

_ In pursuing the LORD for understanding and for something from the Scriptures to give me some kind of clear picture of this baptism in Fire of His people that had not to do with condemnation judgment, that there is a true and clear knowing that the Fire part of this baptism by Jesus of us was and still is for us, for those having believed into Him, that Holy Spirit meant what He said through John, what Father God answered me from the scriptures came as a suddenly, a recollection of the account of the three young Hebrews – Hananiah, Mishael, & Azariah, (Shadrach, Meshach, & Abed-nego) –  in the book of Daniel.

_ As I read on this accounting, I was stunned at what was before me.  I sat on this and read it again and again over some days.  It was like Holy Spirit was unveiling before my eyes the clearest picture of exactly what He’d anointed John to declare.

_ Somewhere about a century and a half before Daniel, Isaiah had prophesied a word that seems inconceivable in the natural.

“WHO OF US can dwell with a consuming fire?                                        The one walking in righteousness
_                 and speaking in uprightness.”
_                                                                                     Isaiah 33:14b, 15
                           (v14-Berean Study Bible/v15-frm Heb txt.)

_Do you see what he is declaring?  Isaiah is prophesying that one walking in righteousness and speaking in uprightness CAN actually dwell WITH A CONSUMING FIRE!

_ But Isaiah had walked through an encounter years before that would be the gracing truth anointing him to later declare such a bold possibility.  The word above IS way beyond the natural ability of man born into Adam.  It absolutely would take something from the LORD Himself to cause one to “dwell with a consuming fire” that is Holy God.

“In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I saw the Lord sitting on a
throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the
temple. … And one (Seraphim) called out to another and said,
“Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts,” “The fulness of all
the earth is His glory.”  And the foundations of the thresholds
trembled …, while the temple was filling with smoke.

Then I said, “Woe is me, for I am ruined!  Because I am a man
of unclean lips,  And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”

Then one of the Seraphim flew to me, with a burning coal in
his hand which he had taken from the altar with tongs.  And
he touched my lips … and said,  “Behold, this has touched
your lips …” “
_                               excrpt frm Isaiah 6:1-7a (NASB / v3b-YLT)

_ Look again at that prophetic declaration from Isaiah asking who could dwell with a consuming fire.

“for our God is a consuming fire.”                                                                                                                                 Hebrews 12:29 (NASB)

Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire?”

“The one walking in righteousness
                and SPEAKING in uprightness.”
_                                                                                     Isaiah 33:14b, 15
_                            (v14-Berean Study Bible/v15-frm Heb txt.)

_ The Holy Spirit through him clearly states that the answer has to do with our walk and our talk, our lips, the words that speak from out of us.  Our walk (especially before God 24/7) has everything to do with our talk.  You must follow this that is being unveiled through the scriptures in order to understand that the baptism/immersion/dunking/clothing in Holy Spirit and Fire has everything to do with our lips, our tongues, the words of our heart!

_ God our God IS a consuming fire (Deut. 4:24a).  Still, His heart, yes, as GOD, has always been towards a ripped veil access with man – read the passage from Hebrews 12, starting at v22, in which context is the quote of Him being a consuming fire.

_  Our Awesome God, Who IS Holy, always had planned an exceeding, costly, grace-gift unto us in order that we could indeed stand before Him Face to face and not be consumed, (except by His love!).

_ This is why He, by His foreknowledge and predestined purpose, set into the Old Covenant a picture to prophesy, to show us that He was going to Grace-gift us what is utterly impossible with natural man.  This alone, realizing this, has to set our hearts in Awe of such crazy, awesome lovingkindness “naturally” from out of our God unto us.

_ Our Heavenly Father’s destiny for us was so purposed intentional, towards a working of His doing, by His Spirit, (Zech. 4:6b) to cause us to be abled, by a sacrificed gifting of righteousness, to walk in righteousness and speak in uprightness… so that we could dwell with Him!

_ That purpose in God to get on earth His intention through prophetic words and actions during the days of the Law, all looking towards that “appointed times” kairos from Passover to Pentecost, was going to be done through Isaiah, and then years later, through those three Hebrews in the book of Daniel.

_ Yet both of these incidents were pointing back to a covenant of Fire already set by Him centuries earlier, with their very first father, Abraham, towards bringing us into this New Covenant of faith righteousness.

_ This entire baptism – in Holy Spirit AND Fire – has everything to do with our lips, our tongues, in the transformation of the Spirit of our minds, of the very breath of our heart’s words, from of the wiring of “the way that seems right to a man, but whose end is death” “tree of the KNOWLEDGE of good and of evil” that is really a tied up bondage to “Babylon-confusion”, which lies about the truth and power of our God to be able to deliver us and set us into a life of Liberty walk of Jesus’s Spirit in us totally free from such bondage.  This is all about setting our walk and our talk in the Fire of God’s Holy Nature that is a beyond comprehension love through all that Liberty is through the Cross.

_ It will not be addressed at length in this Kairos, except to say this:  I believe the two accountings, of Isaiah & the three Hebrew youths, tie into that “fire” encounter of Genesis15, which sets a covenant that has everything to do with how serious God our Father is towards us to keep a covenant with His Son.  The revelation of “righteousness by faith”, to which Paul several times unveils the New Covenant (Rom. 1:17, 4:3; Gal. 3:11), was cut by the LORD in this covenant of fire in Genesis 15.

_ This baptism by Christ Jesus of us, in Holy Spirit and Fire, through what is prophesied in these two events, I believe sets us into that unstoppable Divine purposed intent to manifest increasingly through us Kingdom Dominion through a life of augmenting faith righteousness, enacted on earth in that covenant of fire in Genesis 15.  It is the evidence of “from faith INTO faith” that glorifies Jesus and the finished work of the cross here, and scares hell’s kingdom because of systematic increasIng loss of ‘already stripped by Jesus’ possession through our augmenting faith (Eph. 1:16-23; Col. 2:15; Rev. 12:5, 7-10a;I Cor. 15:25), … inheritance that is ours in Christ because of the covenant He cut as a covenant of faith righteousness with God from Gethsemane to Golgatha’s cross (Rom. 3:21-4:25).

_ The following is in condensed form from Daniel 3.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king (of Babylon) made an image of gold … he set it up … in the province of Babylon.

Then the herald loudly proclaimed: “To you the command is given, O peoples … that at the moment you hear the sound of the horn and … all kinds of music, you are to fall down and worship the golden image … But whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into the furnace of blazing fire.”

Shadrach, Meshach, & Abed-nego … said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this.  If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

“Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with wrath … He answered by giving orders to heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.  And he commanded certain valiant warriors … to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, & Abed-nego in order to cast them into the furnace of blazing fire.

Then these men were tied up in their trousers, their coats, their caps, and their other clothes, and were cast into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire. … these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, & Abed-nego, fell into the midst of the furnace of blazing fire still tied up.

Then Nebuchadnezzar … was astounded and stood up in haste … and said … “Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire? ”

“I am seeing men, four, UNBOUND /
_
having-been-loosed  / HAVING-BEEN-SET-FREE,
_     walking in
(the) midst of (the) fire,
_  and hurt, there is NOT in them.

_     And the appearance of the fourth is like
_  to a son of God [בַר אֱלָהִין – bar-Elahiyn -(Aramaic)]_                  excrpt – Daniel 3:1-21 (NASB) & 25 (Lit. frm Aramaic)

_ What you have to see, Beloved, is what WAS burned off of these three in this baptism in Fire …  It is everything of Babylon that had them tied up.

_ The revelation of the power of God upon His people, which was completely doubted by everyone, set an AWE of the God they feared, of the God they utterly trusted.  It shut up a mockery, because this baptism in Fire laughed at the derision of the voice of Babylon in the mouths of those who thought little to nothing of the God of these three.

_   …   Selah   …

_ The Son of God walking in the Fire with them … what more can be said?  Their Liberty from Babylon was walking in the baptism of consuming Fire with the Son of God. (II Cor.3:17-18).

_ The fire that Jesus our Savior, the Son of God, walked through was our judgment from Holy God on the cross for our sin.  We do not have that judgment waiting for us (Jhn. 3:18a, 5:24).  This baptism in Fire is a gracing to walk in a holiness through our lips and our lives that unveils, in Word and Power, through Holy Spirit in us and us dunked in Him, the awesome unconditional love that is God our Father because of the finished work of the cross.

“for our God is a consuming fire.”                                                                                                                                  Hebrews 12:29 (NASB)

Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire?”

“The one walking in righteousness
_                 and SPEAKING in uprightness.”
_                                                                                     Isaiah 33:14b, 15
                           (v14-Berean Study Bible/v15-frm Heb txt.)

“The (One) after me coming,  …
        He-Himself, YOU will-He-BAPTIZE
_           IN  Holy Spirit
_               and
_                   FIRE!”
Matthew 3:11b  (Lit. frm Grk text)

“And in the day of the Pentecost being fulfilled, …

there came to be, suddenly / unexpectedly, from out of heaven, A NOISE, even as a rushing of a breath / of a wind (that is) forceful /violent, and it  [“the Noise” (not “the wind”)]  filled the whole house where they were sitting.  And there was seen to them [there appeared to them] ‘being-divided’ TONGUES as-if OF-FIRE.  And it-sat (each tongue that looked like it was of fire (from of that noise of heaven which sounded like a breath that is forceful)) upon each one of them.  And they were filled, all, with Holy Spirit and they began to speak with other tongues (that is, in other languages), according-as the Spirit was giving to-utter-forth to them (that is, according as the Spirit was giving to them to declare) … the great things of God!”                                  Acts 2:1a (YLT)  Acts 2:2-4, 11b (Lit. frm Grk text)

We have a baptism to be baptized in, by our Lord Jesus.

” “Is not My word like FIRE?” declares the LORD,”
                                                                    Jeremiah 23:29a (NASB)

” a FIRE I came to cast upon the earth … “

Luke 12:49 (Lit. frm Grk text)

Because we have a fire to set in the earth.

” the tongue is a fire …”

“Behold, how great a forest is set aflame
_     by such a small fire!
_                                                           James 3:6a, 5b (NASB)

“… thus says the LORD, the God of hosts,
“… Behold, I am making My words in your mouth FIRE
                                                  excrpt frm Jeremiah 5:14 (NASB)

You are greatly loved, Beloved!

If you have never believed into Jesus Christ, you can do so now, from your own heart and words.  If you wish help to pray, pray, “LORD Jesus, I believe You died for me and as me because You love me.  I receive Your Forgiveness for my sin.  Thank You for shedding Your blood to cleanse me, for making me clean, for breaking the power of sin in my life, for transforming me as a gift of Your Grace to me.  I ask You to live inside of me.  I thank You, Jesus, for giving me eternal life, that I might know You and Your Father, as my God, forever.  In Your Name, LORD Jesus.  Amen!”

_  If you just believed into Jesus, if you prayed this prayer to believe into Jesus, it is of great importance that you be water baptized (Mk. 16:16a; Acts 10:47-48a; Rom.6:4).  And ask Jesus to baptize you in Holy Spirit & fire.  Share your faith, what Jesus has done for you.

For those of you who have believed into Jesus; take communion often (I Cor. 11:23-26; Lk. 24:30-31a).  Let communion be a refreshing of the Blood and the Spirit (Heb. 9:14) to cleanse your conscious from sin consciousness to righteousness consciousness, that you are indeed clean, as a gift of His grace.  You are no more, Dearly Beloved, under condemnation; rather, you are under justification – eternally! (Rom. 4:25b, 5:21;b; Heb. 9:11-12).  You will find the Holy Spirit of Jesus unveiling Jesus to you from the scriptures like you’ve never seen Him before.

kairos – (Kahee-ros’) – Strong’s concordance defines this word: “an occasion, I.e. set or proper  time.”  The Hebrew-Greek Key Study Bible (NASB) defines this word; “season, time, but not merely as a succession of moments, which is chronos,” [from which we derive the English word ‘chronology’].  “Kairos, however, implies not the convenience of the season, but the necessity of the task at hand, whether the time provides a good, convenient opportunity or not.”  This must be understood.  Strategic times of the Lord do not necessarily imply good or convenient times.  We are in Kairos times.  Maybe not good or convenient times, but definitely strategic, opportune times because of the season we are in.  We must have “ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches,” (Rev. 2:29), so as to respond correctly to the Kairos time.
